Our goal is to help children grow emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. Our staff will guide children to learn and grow as children learn and grow best -- by touching, seeing, and doing. As a preschool in a United Methodist Church, we strive to provide children with a safe, loving environment that nurtures a child’s innate desire to know & love God. These little ones learn about God from what they experience. We want to be sure that each child knows that he is loved, welcomed and appreciated the moment he walks through our doors. Jesus said, “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.” (Matthew 18:5).
Each of our classrooms is set up with different learning centers (blocks, art, home, science, sensory, writing, listening, math). Centers allow children to make choices, work with others, be involved in hands-on experiences and become fully engaged in learning. We know and understand that each child is unique and a Center Based Curriculum provides for individual learning styles. Our classrooms are designed to meet a child’s need to explore & experience the world around them, while feeling safe & encouraged. Giving children choices is a great way to show them respect. And when given trust & respect, children become trustworthy & respectful.
